Kris and I completed walk #1 around Green Lake on Saturday. It is about a three mile walk and I could certainly feel it in my calves by the end of it but that's a good thing. There is an ampitheater/stadium at the southern end of it, which in a few more trips I'm going to start doing stairs on. My goal is 10 sets by the end of the year but I'm really just hoping to improve on my general fitness. Some part of me is thinking about trying to bike around but I don't want to buy a bike if all I'm gonna do with it is ride around Green Lake.

I made broccoli beef, which was super tasty and lasagna which was okay. I just pulled it together since we had the ingredients for it but didn't spend any real time with it. I need to remember that I know how to cook. I've gotten out of the habit of cooking for myself which is s shame because I'm not all that bad at it. If anyone has any quick favorites, feel free to point me to recipies.

Had an excellent gaming experience with Brian yesterday. It was a lot of fun. Any time you get to learn something about your character, that's a win in my book.

I need to get Holly to come over and finish the bathroom. The house is mostly put together. I only have three more boxes in my room, which is amazing, really. I need to get the bookshelf into the garage and get Mike to come up and help with the corners where the fridge ended up.

And then I really need to do something with the floor. It is all grubby already. *makes a face*

I also need to do more walking. And I've desperately wanted a bike for a while but don't particularly want to ride on the city streets and face the eventual statistically-inevitable mangling. Know of any places other than Green Lake?

Not a lot of good ones other than like Burke-Gilman You'd be more than welcome to join us for the walks, though.

That was part of what I wanted to do tonight -- sweep the floor. And get rid of the bags by the turtle tank. And and and a million other things.
