A slew of skywriters will scribe giant V’s across the sky near 26 U.S. landmarks starting this Friday. I'm really, really looking forward to this. God, I hope it doesn't suck because I loved that show as much as it freaked me out. The locations and times are here: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=60171

What's this you say? Another movie called Nine coming out this year? Go take a look: http://www.latinoreview.com/news/new-nine-featurette-8303 Ah, I'm so happy for musicals to be alive and kicking again. Some /serious/ star power in this.

Inglorious Basterds will be released on Blu-ray and DVD December 15th.

"Green Lantern" had to pull out of its Australian shooting locations due to economic issues and it looks like they might be filming in New Orleans instead. The Times-Picayune has some really interesting things to say about it but as a few people on the internet have noted, the most interesting is at the end. GL is said to be "the first in a trilogy of films focusing on DC's Justice League heroes—the others being 'The Flash' and 'Wonder Woman'—before uniting all three with fellow League members Batman, Superman and Aquaman for a Justice League movie." Fancy!

"I know the guys that are doing it. It's exciting to me," he said. "It makes me want to go get the Green Lantern comics and start reading up." - Jackie Earle Haley on the idea that he might be offered Sinestro.

A TV trailer has shown up for Sherlock Holmes - http://www.latinoreview.com/news/sherlock-holmes-tv-trailer-8302 Just little bits of new things here but it makes me chuckle.

There are a lot of names popping up for (so far) unnamed parts in Thor, uncluding Robert DeNior and Jude Law.

Fox will debut a new Avatar trailer this Friday - 3 minutes and 30 seconds worth. No word in front of /what/ movies exactly but good bet is 'everything'. The first trailer has me on the space marines part. The jungle Fern Gulley part I'm not so sure on.

Stolen from Bleeding Cool: Jim Lee was asked by a fan during his panel at the Wizard World Big Apple Comic Con if he would be working on Justice League in the next few months. Lee replied “wouldn’t that be awesome” before saying with a glint that it would be “foolish, foolish” to suggest that a late artist such as himself be given a book with many characters in it, before mentioning that it was very cool now that Hal Jordan and Barry Allen were back… before drifting off and repeating “wouldn’t that be awesome?” I have to admit, I would read a Geoff Johns written, Jim Lee drawn JLA.

Beverly Hills Cop 4. Ashton Kutcher. I'm stopping there. I can't convince myself to care.
