The thing wrong with vampires these days, is they all seem to have taken the wrong lesson from the Louis/Lestat conflict. Too many Louis' and everything gets boring and whiny and, eventually, creepy and not in the fun way. There are not enough Lestats or Armands.
There are also a ton of zombie things out there but, you know, I can't complain too much as I still mostly find them a good time. I haven't reached the point where another zombie movie makes me wince inside.
Two movie viewing notes. An internet pal is in from out of town. We're going to go see Zombieland on Tuesday. If you missed it the first time, here is your chance. (We'll be seeing the 8:10 showing.) Friday, I want to see Where the Wild Things Are. The Regal Meridian has a showing at 7. Does that work for everyone?
