In other stuff and things...
May. 6th, 2009 11:46 amOn the heels of yesterday's Wolverine sequel news comes the greenlighting of a Deadpool solo movie. Woooooo! Snarky Ryan Reynolds! Sign me up!
HBO has signed a director for the GAME OF THRONES pilot. That's not the good news, though and I can hear my wallet cringing from the cost of HBO at this - Tyrion Lannister will be played by Peter Dinklage. Here's hoping there will be more to hear about this coming very soon.
Doc Savage? http://dcublog.dccomics.com/2009/05/06/well-this-guy-looks-familiar-doesnt-he/ Oh, DC, what are you doing? I am interested, I must say.
There continue to be more and more rumors about who will play Green Lantern. So many names being tossed around. C'mon people, cast someone. If you're looking for new names, Bradley Cooper has been thrown into the mix now.
Flash Forward continues to be interesting in premise and I'm looking forward to seeing it. No idea if they'll be able to pull it off. The ads have been cool. The idea is pretty much this: everybody in the world blacks out for two minutes and 17 seconds. In that time, everyone simultaneously experiences a vision of their own personal future.
New Sherlock Holmes pictures are here: http://superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=8311 Those look a little more like I would have thought they should.
Kevin Feige says there will likely be casting news on Thor within 'the next month or so'. To catch you up, if you're not in the running for Green Lantern, you've likely been associated with Thor. Also, there are rumors that put that Josh Hartnett as the frontrunner for Loki, and Natalie Portman for some unidentified female lead character. (Sif maybe?)
