Battlestar Galactica will make its way to Blu-ray with a 20-disc set that will be released July 28th for an MSRP of $350. *shivers* BLUE RAY VIPER COMBAT. Mmmmmmmm.
Not my normal sort of thing but here are some completely awesome photos of Saturn: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/04/cassinis_continued_mission.html Man, space is so cool.
Today is Orange Lantern day - http://dcublog.dccomics.com/2009/04/22/corps-101-agent-orange/ Ironically enough, I can't click through to the larger image. Greedy bastard.

There is an interesting viral thing happening on Deviant Art. I only noticed because I watch Dustin Nguyen's page for new stuff. The symbol here: http://duss005.deviantart.com/art/04-13-2009-119162462 has been showing up. Hrmmm. Anyone in the know on this one? Another example is here: http://manapul.deviantart.com/art/run-117611060
I think I talked about this before once but there is a Stoker Family approved sequel to Dracula coming in October. It has been co-written by Bram Stoker’s great-grand nephew Dacre (any guesses on how to say that?) Stoker and Dracula historian (What a job) Ian Holt.
Lauren Shuler Donner has a lot to say these days, with Wolverine coming out. Here's a summary of what she's had to say: Magneto - Great script, no forward motion currently but they'd like to start. Constantine 2 - Not entirely dead but looking for a writer. X-men First Class: What she really wants to do next and thinks it has potential.
Interesting situation over here about Twitter, link aggregation, sourcing material, payment, journalism and... Just go read it: http://blog.newsarama.com/2009/04/22/my-opinion-is-right-comics-press-is-crippled-like-no-other-industry/
According to Variety, Fox 2000 is looking to get the rights to Patricia Cornwell's books series about a medical examiner as a vehicle for Angelina Jolie. With a little bit of looking, it seems there are 16 novels in the series, which would be a lot of potential movies. Has anyone read these books?
Deadline Hollywood Daily has mentioned that David Slade is in talks to direct third Twilight movie. The David Slade that made Hard Candy, btw.
It also seems that Michael Gonrdy is planning on linking his Green Hornet movie with the Johnny Depp Lone ranger movie tath keeps getting bandied about. While they are supposed to be linked, it is interesting that he's actally looking to do it. Of course, I'm still just tickled at the idea of the a Michael Gondry Green Hornet movie.
It seems that currently Kirsten Dunst is still a 'maybe' for Spider-Man 4. I'm torn on how I feel about that. While I'd like to keep her, she's not exactly iconic as MJ for me. I'd probably be okay with a change.
You get about three seconds to recognize the voice over work here. Is this new? I don't remember this from the other X movies.
