Busy, busy, busy....

It seems that the two Hobbit moview are actually going to be two Hobbit movies and not The Hobbit and assorted other stuff. delToro and Jackson have been talking and deciding what they're going to do. Interstingly enough, Mike Mignola has been in New Zealand talking to WETA as well.

"Pushing Daisies” has been picked up by DC as a comics series. There will be a 12-issue
miniseries set to begin this fall.

Blackest Night previews are starting to come out for July. I'm trying not to look at them too much since I want to know about as much as I know now before diving into it. Still, the art is pretty.

Slusho in Star Trek? Be on the lookout. It may well be there for the sharp eyed.

We're about a month away from all of the TV shows either being picked up or ditched for certain. There will be a lot of announcements coming. I'll have my fingers crossed for Chuck and Sarah Connor. Sadly Cupid, Castle and Better Off Ted are also on this list. It is like I doom TV shows or something.

Variety says that this week 20th Century Fox will close down Fox Atomic.

Disney screened a clip of Toy Story 3 at the NAB Show (where my boss is) in Las Vegas today.

It is a thing that shows up in all JJ Abrams projects. It was in Cloverfield, has been in Lost... It is an Easter Egg for the sharp eyed. There is all sorts of interesting back story that they've created for it.
