My birthday....

litheraMost of you don't care and even if you do are not likely to get my a present. That's cool.
For those of you who do, here are a few ideas. (Because I've gotten asked what I want quite a bit in the past week or so...)
I have the Absolute Sandman vol. 1. Volumes 2, 3 and 4 would be fantastic. Because wow, they're lovely.
I would not recommend any video games right now, as I have ... oh.... five or six that I should really finish up before I try to tackle anything else.
Books! I love books. Even though I'm still trying to convince myself to put down the money for a Kindle, I will never turn away books. Especially on the Ancient World. Sparta? Persia? Sign me up!
Gift certificates! Seriously, I love the things. Especially to places I frequent or you think I might like to frequent at some point. Saving me money is a fantastic present.
Dinner! Take me out to dinner. Make dinner for me.
If you're local (or planning on visiting sometime) pick something fun to do for a day and we'll go do it. I always appreciate time with friends. Especially if I don't see them often.
Also, watch this space for an announcement on birthday plans for parties. Hopefully it should be soon.
