litheraScarlett Johansson is now in the mix for The Black Widow. Gwyneth Paltrow hasn’t even seen an “Iron Man 2″ script yet, so I wouldn't get too excited yet.
Due to the owner's financial support in favor of California's Proposition 8 bill, there will be pickets and protests against the popular Hyatt Hotel at Comic-Con International in San Diego this year. Depending on what's happening when, I might well join them.
Cartoon Network has ordered 26 episodes of the animated series "Marvel Super Hero Squad," in which Captain America, Silver Surfer, Hulk, Wolverine and Iron Man will team up to fight crime.
CBS is developing a reality show where contestants drive cars through an obstacle course. It will be called "Thunder Road" and is produced by McG.
Will Clark is going to direct Pride and Predator. This starts out as traditional period costume drama and then an alien crash lands and begins to butcher characters, who suddenly have more than marriage and inheritance to worry about. SIGN ME UP RIGHT NOW!
Fox will begin to air ‘American Idol’ at 9 p.m. - going head-to-head with Lost. That'll be interesting.
If anyone has any questions on current Galactica events, I have a lot of places where producers are giving commentary in case something is being missed. This is good. I need to sit down and watch that.
Hasbro, Inc., Marvel Entertainment, Inc. and Spider-Man Merchandising L.P. announced today that Hasbro will retain rights through 2017 to make toys and games based on new Marvel and Columbia Pictures theatrical releases and on Marvel's globally popular portfolio of Super Hero brands, including franchises such as "Spider-Man," "Iron Man," "The Avengers," "X-Men," "Thor" and "Captain America."
On that same sort of note, the DC Direct stuff that was previewed at NYCC and the Toy Fair is going to be getting some of my money at SDCC. I don't buy statues or knickknacks often but man, there is some of that stuff that will get my money.
