I'm looking forward to reading this: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=92159514&blogID=468114731
It looks like Michigan may be replacing Vancouver as the favorite new hotspot for filming movies. Sam Raimi and others are taking advantage of the 42% in tax rebates Michigan offers to filmmakers. And really, growing up around there likely doesn't hurt. If you can help people out in times like these, wouldn't you?
The Financial Post reviews author Sean Wise’s 2008 book How To Be Business Superhero. This book divides its 35 chapters into lessons you can learn from particular superheroes and villains. As an example, chapter 18 is apparently entitled “Madrox: Synergistic Multitasking.” That really makes me actually want to read it. I know. I'm a dork.
I wish the show were still this entertaining: http://www.hulu.com/superbowl/55721/super-bowl-xliii-ads-nbc-heroes-football BTW, the rest of the SuperBowl ads are below if you want to watch them all. Some good trailers in there. Really looking forward to Star Trek.
Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel has joined the cast of M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender. Now, is this because people were screaming about the fact that a cartoon full of characters that are of all sorts of Asian cultures were entirely cast with white people? No idea but it feels like it.
And Warren Ellis says: "My friend John Rogers’ tv show LEVERAGE got picked up for a second season on TNT. Congratulations, mate." Indeed. Fun show. Glad to be watching it.
