I'm never going to be able to pick up my comics after work again.

Man. I usually love Q4 but this is ..... Oooof.

Does that mean 'too much overtime' or 'horrible economic slump means no business?'

*chuckles*

It means I'm here until 6 or later most days and my comics place closes ay 5:30. We're selling stuff, we're selling a lot of stuff but everyone is deep into analyze and analyze more mode.

Book an appointment in Outlook to head down to the market for lunch. Send invites to a couple other people.

I wouldn't get there by 7, either.

One of my favorite things about where I work is that they don't want people working more than 40 hours a week if possible.

Well, I'd say that's usually more the case around here but not during Q4.

Is there some reason why a retail company would be busy in Q4?

(One of the confusing things about Concur is that our FY ends in September so this is Q1 for us...)

Hey, here's a suggestion for your company. I have an order that's going to ship next week (some Dr Who DVDs that get released then). I'd like to add some Xmas stuff for Mel to that order seeing how it's just sitting there waiting. I can delete stuff from my order, but why can't I add anything?

That is, unfortunately, the way the pipeline works at the moment because that order is literally waiting at the warehouse right now for that item to become available.
