Let me tell you there are a few of things that were announced that you didn't see coming.

The Lone Ranger has been greenlit. The studio was wondering who could possibly play the role of The Lone Ranger when Johnny Depp came walking out in full Captain Jack Sparrow gear holding a six shooter and a mask.
Oprah Winfrey has been cast as the mother of the princess in Disney's upcoming The Princess and the Frog.
Up will be Pixar's first film in 3-D.
National Treasure 3 has been greenlit. No news on story but Cage is back in the role. Cage will also be starring in a movie called The Sorcerer's Apprentice based off of the Mickey character in Fantasia.
