Entertainment and things...
Aug. 5th, 2008 10:00 amHelana Bohnam Carter has joined the cast of Terminator. (The movie, not the TV show.)
Singer Joss Stone is joining the cast of The Tudors on Showtime. She's going to play Anne of Cleves, the fourth wife of Henry VIII.
Rob Cohen, unsurprisingly, wants to make more Mummy movies. I'm not seeing this one, so I'm not really interested but word is the next one would be South American.
Jackie Chan is set to star in The Spy Next Door. Spies are big again what with Bourne and Bond being awesome.
The Herald Sun had an article about the Justice League movie. George Miller praises Megan Gale's screen test for Wonder Woman and says that things are moving forward. Please, please no. I think that this script could be good but I have little faith in the casting at all.
SciFi is making 36 new TV movies next year. One of them is going to be called RISE OF THE GARGOYLE!! DUN DUN DUN!!!! And it will start Eric Balfour. Looks like Catie got in on the gargoyle thing early. Good going!
Lucas keeps talking about Indy 5. He won't stop talking about it. No aliens, George. Give it up. You've got one franchise where you can put every alien you've ever wanted already. STOP IT! STOP STOP STOP. *ahem*
Sorry. Got a little carried away there.

Date: 2008-08-05 05:37 pm (UTC)Anyways, we get to the counter and the clerk says "Oh you're buying George. How nice!" We take a closer look at the puppet's face and yes, indeed, it does resemble G.W.B.
We bought it anyways. It's not the puppet's fault, right?

Date: 2008-08-05 07:01 pm (UTC)The actors are all unknowns, which has positives and negatives.

Date: 2008-08-05 08:07 pm (UTC)Indy 4 was... ok. And that was with Speilburg handing him a crutch.
I really don't care if the Clone Wars cartoon is giving away free t-shirts, it still does nothing for me.
Y'know, I just don't think I've got a need to see whatever he decides to work on any more.
