I think I'll be listening to George Carlin sketches all day in the background as I work.

Watched "When We Left Earth" yesterday. It was impressive. It makes me angry on more than one level that we got to the moon and just... stopped. Okay. We did it. We're done. No more space needed. It looks like the planned date to get back there is 50 years after we were there last time. Yeah. Anyway, I recommend this highly to anyone who has ever been interested in space. There is a lot of great footage and some declassified Challenger footage that I hadn't seen before. That stuff was hard to watch but well worth it. The home video made on Columbia was also hard to watch. I'll hold back from going on about why I think we need to keep exploring space - I've gone over it before.

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is the full title of the G.I. Joe movie. Wooo.

There are some Iron Man 2 rumors going here - http://www.latinoreview.com/news.php?id=4911 Possibly some spoilers here but who knows at this point. Really early on and no one seems to be signed.

I think it's sad that people are so wrapped up with their own issues and labeling everyone else a 'terrorist' or 'insurgent' or 'enemy' or 'them' or 'other' to see that we're /stuck/ here; with each other; for better or for worse. But it's just too much of an afront to believe different things than the neighbor down the street, or have a different amount of a chemical in my skin, they gotta go!

At our current pace our species will end here. Maybe that's a good thing; I'm not really sure at this point.

You're doing it yourself, though. Saying the whole human race should die because many don't agree with you.

Remember there are many who do, too. And while some countries are even worse in those aspects than the US, there are many who are far more accepting of differences too. Don't lump everybody together.
