I feel a little weird.

I don't hurt. I don't really feel bad but I do feel odd.

There is a ... pressure in my lower back. It feels sort of like I need some serious work done on the muscles of my lower back, except it isn't really muscles. It sort of feels like it might be my kidneys or something. I have no idea what is going on with this. It has been more and less intense over the past day or two.

It is starting to worry me a little, just because I have NO IDEA what it is and it hasn't gone away.

This plus the fact that I seem to have some sort of sinus thing going on, causing me to be somewhat nauseous as well as have trouble breathing at night... I'm sort of physically not in a good place right now. It is not helping me be in a good place mentally. I end up feeling like sludge a lot.

*sighs*

Maybe you're dehydrated? (says the 'not-a-trained-medical-proffesional')

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a better answer than I've come up with and one easily tested, at least.

Well, what you describe souns alot like how I feel when i'm dehydrated. It has a delayed effect too, so if that's what it turns out to be, it'll take regular intake of H2O consistantly over a period of time to catch up.

At any rate, it can't hurt to be ontop of your water intake. Good hydration helps the immune system, weight control, blah blah blah and so on :)

Regular rest is another key comonent.

Checking witha Doctor too... :)

*chuckles*

Yeah. I don't really like doctors. (Excepting the one in your icon, of course.) But if this doesn't go away soon, I'm probably going to go in before I freak myself out somehow.

Getting on my allergy meds again usually does dry me out some, as that is sort of what it is supposed to do. Of course, it is also supposed to get rid of my headaches and it is only sort of doing that. Ehn.

[identity profile] jameel.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 05:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Is it a stabby sort of pain?

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Not at all. More of a constant pressure, varying in intensity.

[identity profile] candidgamera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Augh. Feel better.

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm hoping so.

I'm trying not to let me imagination run away with me on this.

Hrm. Well, I'm going to second the slow, regular intake of fluids. Cranberry juice, if you have it.

And, yeah, doctoring if it doesn't go away. Might well be something as stupid as a muscle pulled in a weird way.

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Been starting to up the cranberry already, just in case.

Mom says to drink lots of water, and possibly some cranberry juice. If it doesn't go away soon--like in the next day--head for the doctor. Even if you do have an aversion to them, it could be something bad.

Thanks!

What they said. Allergy meds work by drying you out, pretty much.

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm hoping that is what it is and trying not to wander off into imagination land as to what else it could be.

[identity profile] ladymeag.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I know the feeling you are talking about - it's probably dehydration that will take a few days of lots of water/juice to clear up. Do you drink a lot of soda? Have you taken Midol or allergy/cold medicine lately?

My vote's on dehydration.

[identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com 2008-04-24 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Allergy meds have made a new appearance in my routine again. I was getting tired of the headaches. So, I'll re-hydrate and see what's up.

Good luck! I think most of us don't get as much water as we should.
