Lots to say...

So. As a start.
LJ RP Drama - I'm just waiting. I'm waiting for things to move on and just be over. The thing is, I think a lot of other people are as well, so there isn't a lot of happening happening. I think back to the beginning and wish that what I asked at that point had been heeded. It is all ending up that way as it is. No one has managed to stay entirely above board through the entire thing, not even myself, to my regret but there has been some astonishingly childish behavior - even here at the end of it all.
On notes not the drama - I do not do this for the experience of herding cats. I do not like prodding at people to RP. It is not fun for me to nudge people constantly. I understand you have other things to do and that this, yes, is a recreational hobby. I get that. However, if you are on-line and you have enough time to be in chat and not do other things... Maybe you have the time to drop in a post or two? I get very frustrated with the "OoOooOO Shiny" method of character choice. Do not app a character because they're shiny right now. Pick a character because you want to role-play them and are willing to take on the time commitment that comes with the characters. I HATE RP quotas. It is a retarded thing because this is supposed to be fun, not a chore but when you have characters just sitting around doing nothing because the player has been distracted by a new shiny.....
Finish what you start, you know? It seems simple enough.
Comics in general - DC is doing Final Crisis this summer and as of the NYCC DC Nation panel has then promised some light after the dark. Marvel is doing.... Marvel Apes. You know, zombies was kind of interesting but turning all of your characters into gorillas? Ehn. After Comic Con, I'm going to take a long look at my pull list and see what to chop. Catwoman is ending at 82 but there is a Power Girl series starting up that looks like fun. I could seriously lose a whole bunch of titles and probably not care at all. I probably should, really. I only passingly read a lot of what I buy these days. I should take a long look at my list when I go in next and cross off a bunch, actually. There are things I really just don't give a damn about.
Health and such - I'm trying to walk more. I am walking out to a bus stop further away in the mornings. I need to find my mp3 player. I took it out of my pocket before I went to NorWesCon and now I have NO idea where it is. Having that would help a lot with walking after work. In the mornings I normally have enough random thoughts in my head to keep me occupied but after work, I have a whole lot of ......... going on. I've decided that I will be joining the gym here in the building at work - unless Kris decides to go to the Gold's by our apartment. I'd rather go with someone regularly than go by myself. Either way, I'll be joining something beginning of next month.
Work - Interviews again. Here we go round again. Wheeeee.
General - I'm feeling that I'm missing things. I want to get out and do more and generally be more connected with the world. Not sure what I'm looking for yet. I feel explore-y and I have decided what I want to explore yet. The itchy feet are coming back, though. I don't know if trips to visit family and Comic Con this summer are going to suffice. I want to go somewhere new. So, that means, at this point, planning for next year, likely. Oooof.
