litheraLet me just say first that I loved Cloverfield. It was just right. At some point I might talk about the specific parts of it I thought were brilliant but there is one comment I am forced to make.
There have NEVER been characters in a movie that I have enjoyed who were that damned stupid.
Ever.
I'm very glad that, for me, the movie wasn't really about them. They were just the vehicle through which I got to see the events and the dramatic tension unfold.
