So, I asked for change.

I'm getting it.

Tracer X stopped running tonight on my way to Target.

Tomorrow, after tennis, I'll be absconding with Josh in order to get the car taken to a shop and for them to poke at him to see how much it will cost to fix. I'm not going to spend more than the car is worth.

Other than that, sort of up in the air. Hey, at least I can probably deal without having a car for awhile if I need to.

That really sucks, sweety. I'm sorry. I hope it's something easy like the plugs and not something lame like the head gasket. I'm happy to help out with rides and stuff as available, and help drive stuff to your new place, and so on. If you need a ride from the shop to anywhere, I can probably help out with that, though I'll also be running errands ahead of Geli's birthday party tomorrow, so it may take me a bit to get back over to that side of the lake. But, still, you know, call, and stuff.

I can probably also give you a ride to game Sunday (and back home as well, if need be).

I can tell you that living in this part of the neighborhood without a car isn't bad at all. The only real problem comes in when you suddenly don't work in the city. Good luck getting to the shop!

I don't think that he's quite bitten the dust. The mechanic said he thought it was the timing belt but it wasn't a big issue with these types of cars. So. Here's hoping.
