Thank God. I was going to go mad there, if I couldn't get in to my e-mail here at work. There is stuff to do! Vendors to yell at. Deals to close, don't you know.

The Daily Show's Writers are cool.

I like Obama.

I will also point you to this year's Customer Votes.

Ghostbusters III looks like it will be a video game.

Persepolis looks really cool. I liked the graphic novel.

Hidden Kingdom has Jet Li and Jackie Chan in it. If that weren't enough for me, it also has a bad ass looking woman with white hair, some nice looking wuxia and interesting cross of Eastern and Western plot elements.

What else, what else? I want my BPAL shipment to ship. So we can have a party with good smelling things. And I can trade stuff with other people and so on and so forth and la la la la.

Hee - that clip was cool! And I loved John Oliver running in at the end.

*wants to see Hidden Kingdom now* Yay, Jackie Chan!

You know, in addition to pointing out the actual monetary value of their work, I think YouTube itself is a great advertisement for why the writers need to be paid. I mean, really, I love ItsJustSomeRandomGuy, but do you really want a dude playing with his action figures to be the best entertainment availble? After that, there's a lot of World of Warcraft music videos and film of people cooing at their cats.
