Heroes was okay but I liked the episode before it much better. I, generally, thought that the last episode wasn't very thrilling, though there were good points to it. I generally would like the people who died to stay dead because I like that sort of thing to stick. (Most of the time, anyway. I have brought characters back from the dead myself but sacrifice is sacrifice for a reason, you know?) I did like the epilogue, though. And on that note, I point out:

I'll wait a few days before I post anything spoilery for those who might not have seen it.

I was pretty disappointed by the ending as well. Did they run out of money for a big final fight?

The penultimate episode was MUCH better.

I didn't need a big final fight but I was expecting more of the episode to be fighting instead of more build up which a) didn't really build up and b) wasn't really needed. I was cool without a big powered fight and all but it just sort of seemed like, "Hey that's... Oh. Huh. Okay..."

Even given the title of the episode, I will allow for spoiler space.

So here it is.

SPOILER SPACE

I don't really consider it a sacrifice since everybody was trying to stop the exploding man...and since we know Nathan can fly faster than the speed of sound, he probably was able to outrun the boom.

I don't know. There is a big difference between out running sound and an atomic explosion.

Ballistic trajectory. He could've gotten Peter to the edge of the atmosphere and let go, then gone downward at a sharp angle. We already know he's capable of 90 degree turns.

Peter could've kaboomed just at the edge of where gravity loses its hold and still given Nathan time to get away.

It is possible but it really seems like he realized he had been wrong and was trying to make things right. Those sorts of stories follow a certain path. I'd almost be more convinced that Peter survived what with Claire's healing.

Well, Future Peter survived exploding - due to Claire's healing.

Therefore it's almost certain that he survived this time, too.

(Even the fall afterwards)
