You know what?
I watch Grey's Anatomy.
You know why? Because it might be drama-ish but it is actually some pretty damned good TV.
Christina Ricci and Chris O'Donnel putting in some quality moments.
And the show is funny and it is also crazy heartache land at the same time.
I think I like it because most of these people have problems that people have. Yeah, there is the medical drama part but what catches me and holds me is that these people are people and have problems sort of like the problems people I know have. And they react to them in ways I totally get.
And you know what else? I miss when mini-series on TV were good. What happened to it all. War and Remembrance. The North and the South. V. These were all good things. Why do we have this tripe like Magnitude 10.5 or the stupid bird flu thing? C'mon. This can also go out to summer blockbuster movies. There used to be excellent action movies. I wish there were better action movies. More explosions does not make better. I like having lovely bits of plot and intricate bits. I like being surprised.
It is so lovely to be surprised.
Anyway. I should go to sleep now. I just wanted to say something.
