I'll be looking for anything I can about Super 8 in San Diego - http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/paramount/super8/ I can't resist this secrety stuff. And well, this hits all the right spooky, twitchy buttons with me.

There is a new Judge Dredd being shopped around.

The word is that Captain America will be filmed in... *yawn* 3D.

Toby Jones, will play evil Nazi scientist Arnim Zola. This is, well, it is a little unexpected as he's one of the ways to get into the more cracky, harder to explain parts of Marvel. (MODOK, anyone?)

There are a number of photos from John Carter Of Mars showing up but most of them don't really show anything.

Transformers 3 is filming now. In one place I'm hearing that the stupid twin robots won't be back. In another, I'm hearing they are. Hrmmmm. Crossed wires? Bumblebee sure is pretty. Maybe I should actually watch the second one? Ehn.

NEXT SUMMER

I'm intrigued, but I hate this year and a half long hype building.

I also need to watch Transformers 2. Well, need is too strong a word. I feel like I should. I can arrange for it to come on the Netflix this week if we want to arrange a viewing, to fill in the bowling hole.

Yeah. I understand the year long hype thing being frustrating but as I understand it, he hasn't filmed anything yet, so that trailer was amazingly high budget for something that doesn't exist yet.
