At least, I think...
Tom Cruise showed up at my company meeting today. That was... surreal. Completely surreal. And cool. Reminds me I need to own Risky Business.
Apparently they're moving ahead with Universal Soldier 3! WHY? Jena-Claude needs something to do, I guess.
Michael Crichton died of cancer yesterday at the age of 66. What a damned shame.
When DC releases solicitations for February, 2009, “Robin” #183, “Nightwing” #153 and “Birds of Prey” #127 will all be tagged with FINAL ISSUE. Mmmmm. Well, we're obviously not getting rid of these characters so, I sense a large shuffling around about to happen at the end of RIP.
Wanted co-writer Chris Morgan has told MTV he is getting ready to start working on the sequel. Wooooo! .... Ummmm. Wait.
The final calendar for the Superman case has been set. On Jan. 12, 2009, the issue at stake will be the Siegels’ claim that DC Comics, Warner Bros., Time Warner and other companies connected to the Superman properties are alter egos. As for any amounts the Siegels may be owed from exploitation of the material in Action Comics #1, the date set for trial in regard to accounting of profits is March 24, 2009. It'll be an interesting Q1.
This week's episode of Supernatural takes place in a little town, Concrete, WA, which is played by Squamish, BC, which also stood in for a small town in Men In Trees. Having taught middle school in Concrete, really, it deserves to be Spooky Town of the Week. Or the Year, maybe. Creepy.
