Now that I'm awake again from my FIFTEEN HOURS of sleeping, I wanted to say hello to all of you. I am home again. Yeah! Home!

Man. I'll see if I have the energy to write up the saga of the return trip later. Suffice to say 22 hours of flying + luggage that showed up today = Lame.

Anyway... Warners announced a JLA movie. Much like the Avengers movie. Check it out - http://movies.ign.com/articles/767/767106p1.html

They guy who wrote Night at the Museum is no writing The Flash. http://movies.ign.com/articles/761/761336p1.html

Bryan Singer is still interested in doing X-men work, if they'll let him. The sequel to Superman Returns is titled Superman: Man of Steel.

The Dark Knight stuff - "Katie Holmes, who played Bruce's childhood friend-turned-love interest Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins, has officially dropped out of the film -- or was never asked back, depending on which account you read. The role of Rachel, an Assistant District Attorney who served as Bruce Wayne's moral compass in Begins, will be recast." Casting is reportedly under way on three supporting Knight jobs: a Latina cop (think Elizabeth Pena), an Eastern European gangster and a male Asian accountant.

MONTOYA! WOOOO! *ahem* It also looks like the Batsuit will be streamlined a bit more.

Frank Darabont is making Stephen King's The Mist. This is the first King story I ever read. Damn am I thrilled to see it as a movie. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31704

Lots of stuff from NYC Comic Con about the Dark Tower stuff - http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31690

Babylon 5 stuff anyone? http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31702

!!!!! HBO's new pilot? The Charlaine Harris books about Sookie. You know who is playing Sookie? ANNA PAQUIN! HEEEE!

David Boreanaz and Brooke Shields will lend their voices to Green Lantern Hal Jordan and aviation heiress Carol Ferris in the animated direct-to-DVD movie “Justice League: The New Frontier.

And... That's it for now.

Noooo. Noooo. Not a movie. HBO TV!

So... it'll be interesting.

And yeah. I'm more about Erik too.

Hmm...

I want to like that better, as HBO does some incredibly well produced stuff. But they also have an annoying tendancy to cancel their incredibly well produced shows in mid-season, or to drop them at cliffhangers. I have my doubts as to whether they'd see anything through.

Worth keeping an eye on, though. They've also promised to do George R. R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" as one season per book. We'll see if they make it past book 2.

Well, they're well produced... And we'll see how they go with things. Rome and Deadwood and Six Feet Under and...

I want to be happy about it. I mean... more Anna Paquin is good for the world, right?

I have actually forgiven them for Rome. From what I read, they had 2 other investors (the Italian government and an EU culture grant) on Rome. The other 2 pulled out and left HBO to finance the entire show by themselves. They couldn't do it.

I hope they'll keep "Big Love" around for awhile. It can't be that expensive compared to the special effects budgets of Rome, Game of Thrones, etc. And that is one thing that bodes well for Sookie. It shouldn't be THAT expensive to set something in rural Louisiana.
